Day 2: Mastering Canva: Effortlessly Flip, Duplicate, and Select Elements

Flipping Design Elements

It’s easy to Flip an element in Canva, and you can do this with a couple of clicks. Select the element you want to flip in Canva and click on the flip button in the toolbar above the editor to flip the element. 

You can then choose to turn it horizontal or vertical from there. Simple as that, you’ll instantly be able to turn elements like a pro in Canva’s easy user interface.

Duplicating Design Elements

Click on an object and you’ll see two icons together with three dots. The Duplicate and Delete options are the first icons on the left. Click three dots and a mini menu pops up, containing more options to edit the object. You’ll also see a brief description of what each icon does.

Selecting Multiple Elements In 1 Click

You can use Shift to select multiple Canva elements by pressing a key on your keyboard while tapping the features you wish to use. Another way to highlight all of the elements on a page is to press CommandControl and A keys in combination. Third, select the elements you want to select by clicking and dragging the cursor over them.
