Design Custom Zoom Backgrounds with Canva
How to create Zoom Backgrounds
In a Zoom meeting, Virtual Background allows you to display an image or video as your background, allowing for greater privacy and a more professional appearance of the presentation. You can use the virtual background feature with or without the green screen behind you, depending on the device you’re joining the meeting with, and the system requirements are higher for the virtual background without the green screen.
Still Backgrounds
A static background is a steady or non-moving image that can be used as a backdrop or setting. In contrast to dynamic or animated backdrops, which move or alter over time, a still background is permanent and unchangeable. So here’s a step-by-step tutorial for creating your own still background.
Search for Canva on your website, then log in or set up an account if you don’t already have one.
Use the search bar on Canva’s homepage to type in Zoom background, and Canva will present you with a variety of layouts to pick from.
After you’ve chosen your zoom background, you may now adjust it to your liking.
If you want to add your own image, click on the upload option on the left side of your screen and upload your images.
You can now download your customized Zoom background once you’ve completed the settings.
You can now use it as your zoom background by opening the zoom application on your computer and going to settings, then clicking the “+” button in the background settings to upload the zoom background you generated in Canva.
Video Backgrounds

Animated Backgrounds
Animated backgrounds are an excellent technique to capture your audience’s interest. While static backdrops might be clear and easy, dynamic backgrounds help bring the video to life. They may assist you in transforming your dull background into something fascinating and attention-grabbing. So here’s a step-by-step tutorial for creating your own animated backdrops.
